I am so excited to announce that I made a collab video with Bethany, from IWanted2C1Video on youtube. I figured since I am doing a Victoria's Secret hair tutorial, I might as well get the Queen of Victoria's Secret makeup looks to collab with me and my Victoria's Secret inspired hair tutorial.
Here are the VS Model photos that inspired my look.
I see they wear their hair side swept for glamorous events.
This is also a very popular holiday look!
Here is the inspirational photo for the makeup look that Bethany did on her tutorial video:
Have you noticed I have been giving away prizes after almost every video? Also, I have been uploading a video about 4-5 times a month! How do I suddenly have money to give away gift prizes so often? Well, I have been making videos on the website MyLikes. The website allows me to earn pennies per view and then pays me at the end of every week. That's how I have been able to give away weekly prizes-I use my earnings to buy stuff for random viewing winners.
I just wanted to say a quick thanks to all of you who have not complained about these types of sponsored videos. I was very excited when I learned about this site. I get to earn a little extra and I give that money back to YOU, in the form of a small prize.
I am about to film a video that will include chocolate in it. I know chocolate is not related to hair, but I will include a hair tutorial in the video, as well. This means, you will still get the hair tutorial. I will probably also include a make up tutorial as well.
I will use the earnings to continue to give away gifts on my channel! Thank you in advance for accepting my channel and understanding that the sponsorship also allows me to shop for things to improve my videos.
Has anyone also noticed I was able to get myself a better camera to use in my last few hair tutorial videos? When I first started making videos, I was using my husband's Eye Toy from his Play Station and made videos on a loud PC!!!! Over the years, it's been fun buying things like a new digital camera, better lighting and then a lap top to film and edit on. But though I spent money to improve, viewers continued to complain about the quality of my videos. People wanted me to get an HD camera. But no one wanted to pay for it LOL JK! You know what I mean. I knew I was going to have to save up. So, I started to accept sponsored videos and slowly saved up for a nice new HD camera! YAY! I am currently saving up to change my background to make it more interesting, but it will be a while.
Remember, no matter what, if I give you guys a sponsored video, I will also include something for you to take with you: a hair/makeup/nail tutorial and/or a prize. I never want to make you guys feel like I am just USING you. I appreciate that it's super easy and free to subscribe to my channel, but I know it's just that easy and free to UNSUBSCRIBE from my channel any time you want-I won't take that for granted-No You Tube guru should. This is why I try my best to get the most of every thing: A good tutorial for you, with high quality equipment. A bit of earnings for me to continue to purchase for and improve my videos. A bit of earnings for you to earn some small prizes every time I upload a video.
If you have ever used one of my tutorials, thank you for making my time of recording, editing and uploading these videos worthwhile.
If I haven't met you in person, I hope to meet you someday.
If I have met you, HELLO! Hope to bump into you again my friend.
The tutorial was requested by one of my viewers and Facebook followers. It's a look you may have seen on Beyonce and also on Selena Quintanilla. A very FUN look to wear. People will get a kick out of seeing you with your hair out of your face, especially if you are like me, who typically wears her hair down :)
I have been so excited to upload this video after the request came in for a simple/natural VS makeup and hair look. The models always look like they don't spend much time on their hair and makeup. Almost as if they are just your average girl next door. This was a fun look to do because I am not a makeup artist, but still am able to re-create it!!!
The two pictures below are inspiration for the complete look in the video...
Here is a cute look I put together to inspire you to create your own pin up kitten.
Yes, I drew this cat, because I couldn't find a cat drawing online that was black and female from that era. I'll post a video on my vlogging channel, showing how I drew this (with one hand LOL), soon. Here is the original cartoon.
Finally! I had a quiet and clean house with toddler free, nothing else to be obligated to do moment! I could finally film a video speaking to the camera, rather than having to do a voice over. Not sure if any of you noticed, but I was gone from youtube for a month, because of lack of time.
I am back and filmed this video. Also, filmed myself doing my hair before this video, so if you are interested in the tutorial for the curls/waves shown in this video, stay tuned! Are you interested?
Here are some photos of this hair style. Be sure to check out my tutorials on the other looks from this video. I posted them below as links.
It was so difficult to edit this video, because at 10:30 pm, my toddler woke up. They typically sleep all night. My husband was supposed to help me watch him, but he accidentally fell asleep :( I ended up watching my toddler, who wanted to run and play and watch videos on my laptop.....Ah the life of a youtubing mother. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy my videos.

I make hair tutorials on YouTube. But I created this blog to connect with my fellow writers/bloggers. I've also created a myspace account, but I don't like the format for blogging. I'd rather blog here.
As far as something to note about me: I rarely have will power when it comes to dieting. I'd rather eat what I want, but in moderation.
I like girly stuff, but I don't like doing my own hair. I rarely do my own hair, so if you saw me in the street, you'd probably not recognize me. But if you ever saw me, I would love it if you came to say hi.
Thanks for reading my blogs.
